Wind-to-Hydrogen
via LOHC
This integrated clean energy project combines
wind power generation, water electrolysis,
and LOHC
(Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier)
technology to build an end-to-end green hydrogen supply chain.
Green Power Generation:
Utility-scale wind turbines harness regional wind resources to generate zero-carbon electricity, solving the intermittency and curtailment challenges of renewable energy.
Electrolytic Hydrogen Production:
The renewable electricity powers advanced electrolyzers (PEM or alkaline) that split water into high-purity green hydrogen H₂ and oxygen O₂ .
LOHC Chemical Storage:
Rather than using high-pressure tanks or cryogenic cooling, the gaseous hydrogen is chemically bound to liquid organic compounds (such as dibenzyltoluene) via catalytic hydrogenation at moderate temperatures and pressures.
